The more people that know about your business, the more likely it is that you’ll find success. It’s a pure numbers game, so make sure that you’re playing those odds!
While it’s relatively straightforward (we say relatively…) to get your business in front of people’s eyes when you first launch, things can become more difficult once you hit a plateau. Then, it can seem like you’re continually talking to the same people over and over, with no fresh blood coming in. It’s important to remember that there will always be new people to reach, however.
Though it does require a bit of work. Below, we take a look at a few tried and tested methods for getting your company in front of a new audience.
New Energy
If you’re just doing the same old stuff that you’ve always done, then how can you expect any new results?
You can’t.
Your staple marketing campaigns will have once worked to bring new people on board, but those tactics are looking a little tired now. As such, it’s recommended that you take a look at breathing new life into your marketing campaigns. Mixing things up a little will wake up your existing customers, and draw in new ones, too.
Broader Audiences
People exist in a lot of different online spaces, such as social media. There’s a reason why companies focus so much of their attention on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like: it’s where the people are. But while these websites might have the lion’s share of the audience, they’re not the only digital places where you should be promoting your brand. What about blogs, ezines, and online magazines?
Get in touch with digital media companies, and see if they’re interested in featuring your company. Some of them will be, and you’ll have an opportunity to present your business to a whole new audience.
What’s Hot?
You shouldn’t just occupy the digital spaces where people hang out, but you should present your message in the mediums that people like. If you’re trying to reach new people, then make it accessible.
For that, you need to look at what’s hot. Video, for example, is very trendy at the moment — and indeed, likely will be for many years. Some 80% of internet traffic is down to video streaming. If you can make an engaging video, you’ll find that people pay attention.
Real World Events
You don’t have to focus exclusively on the online world, either. You might want to look at hosting real world events, too. These can be a lot of fun, can help solidify your branding, and can gain the interest of people who may not have heard of you previously. Rent out a space, host an event that’s loosely related to your business (just make sure it’s fun/valuable), and see what happens.
There will always be new people to reach. Stay bold, try new things, and enter arenas you haven’t been before. You will find that you gain new interest from people.
